Hello guys. I am proposing a new mob which is a Nether mob. I have come up with the name “Infernal”. Last year I was so sad that the Blaze King didn’t win the mob vote, so this gave me some inspiration. Below I’ll tell you everything you need to know about this mob:
- Description: The Infernal is a corrupt Vex. A Vex can turn into an Infernal when lightning strikes in a 4 block radius of the mob. It then becomes much larger in size, about the height of a wither skeleton and is now armed with a Golden Axe. The mob appears to be on fire, even in water, and it can go through blocks like the Vex it was before. It loses its wings but is a very agile mob, doing leaps of up to 8 blocks forward and 3-4 blocks high. It has 30 health points.
- Attack Method: When attacking, a charged creeper like glow happens on the Infernal and they then leap at you. Their attack animation is to shake their hands in an evoked way, with orange particles and a group of 3-5 blazes appear. Their second one is to hit you with their axe which is their first attack. Then they have their special attack called “Ash” which he shoots a a projectile like a blaze rod then when it hits an entity or player an “ash” cloud of smoke particles covers a 5 x 5 block radius and inflicts blindness on the player for 10 seconds, as well as 2 health points damage per second.
- Behaviour: An nfernal will target any player in a 48 block radius. They will also fight any mob which attacks it by accident. An Infernal will also not attack any blaze which hurts the mob by accident. When idle it will just cool down, not be on fire, and walk around, jumping over cliffs and stuff though. It is a hostile mob.
- Drops: The Infernal should drop 10-15 XP, blaze powder and maybe could drop a new useful item called “Nether Compass”. This could maybe be a rustic looking and old compass which still works from some one who journeyed to the Nether. It would be used as a special tool to finding Nether Fortresses or back to your portal which you have no idea where it is.
I hope you guys love this idea and I would love seeing this in gameplay, both the Overworld and The Nether. Thanks
