broken dimension

we haven't had a new dimension in ages and i feel a good idea would be a dimension where the world around you breaks, it can be filled up with plenty of rare ores and feature no mobs. while it may seem a bit cliche i feel that having a dimension with no mobs may be a good idea. the dimension itself will have a roof (like the nether) and have things like RNG cave-ins as a way to kill the player it can have a new gravity system that affects all blocks to make building another challenge. maybe even have there be no top bedrock layer, or have seismic activity or earthquakes! maybe have it to where every time you enter the portal it loads up as if it was loading up a new dimension and the dimension itself never saves idk though just a suggestion
