Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Powder Coated Iron Blocks

I think it would be neat to be able to "Powder Coat" Iron Blocks. The process would be similar to coloring glass. The blocks would have a somewhat transparent chrome-like appearance. The color would be rich with the iron block texture showing through. If you resmelt the block or break it down to ingots, it reverts back to a normal iron color\texture.

    It would probably be more like anodizing, applying the dyes to Iron blooks to give them a distinct color that can be used to build with. Add a color only to Iron blocks to have a dull finish, smelt them to have the shiny luster. Would be really cool if you like pixel art! Imagine Iron Blocks in the colors below.
