(Bedrock Parity) Item Frames should be block entities instead of entities.

    Why not improve performance without removing features?

    @tryashtar because you can't have both. If you have more stuff on screen, more polygons have to be rendered, more ram and cpu time have to be used. That is just the way it is.

    In that case let's remove all mobs because they are harmful to performance

    But why ? It's much better to have them in entities than blocks because it allows so much more stuff for mapmakers.
    And honestly item frames are definitely not the thing that cause the more lag so it won't make a lot of difference.
    I think it's much better as it is now. I really don't know why you guys really want to simply remove features.

    But I really like being able to put multiple item frames in a single block space, and as long as you don't have them all over your house it won't cause a lot of lag unless you have a really really bad computer.

    I think it should be the other way around. Make item frames entities in bedrock. I used to place torches and item frames in the same block for a little bit of detail on legacy console but now I can't do that.

    (side note) Bedrock invisible item frames would be nice as well

    That's a terrible idea, the peformance concern isn't that bad and block entities already cause lag anyways, even if it's less than normal entities. One of the coolest things about the item frames on Java is that you can put multiple of them on the same block or put them in the same place as a block, it's great for decoration and it's a shame that this is not in Bedrock.
