Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Woodwork bench

1.14 introduced the stonecutter, which simplified the crafting of different stone blocks, but all the different varieties of wood blocks didn't get the same love. I propose a woodwork bench, which would be used to craft wooden blocks like stairs, slabs, fences and fence gates, doors and trapdoors. This could also introduce a new woodworker/carver villager to use this as a profession block. Frankly, I'm surprised 1.14 didn't include a block like this along with the stonecutter.

    I just logged on to the site to specifically search for something like this! A stone cutter equivalent for wood makes perfect sense. I would love to see this added.

    I think it would be cool if a new structure such as a sawmill is added and the villager inside functions like a wandering trader, this could be added to a specific biome, such as the Birch Forrest or Jungle variants. The woodwork Bench would be his job site block. It also needs a very costy recipe as it is pretty easy to get wood in the game, you don't need any tools before you can punch a tree. Something like two stone one iron ingot and three wooden planks of any kind. Thats my idea!

    I think the wood work should be thinking. I agreed! The concept of stone cutter and its ratio 1:1 justify its craft. The same it will happen with wood. I don't know how feasible it is due the balance, but if it was made to the stone, why not with the wood.

    Applying the same logic, 1 wood to make a fence, we can think about it. I don't think it's to much. 

    This block will be considered a profession block. So the carpenter have to be included in the package. It will sell wood things no surprises, with the normal prices and loot table. 

    There is a lot of sense on that in a future of professions updates perhaps.
