Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

The specific seeds may need to be different because of how Bedrock uses a smaller number value to calculate seeds. FYI, seed 0 (grinnerslaphappier.org) is the same biome in both platforms, but beyond a range I don't know off the top of my head, your results vary widely. Structures and placement will always differ, though.

But yes, this feature would be very helpful in Java for someone to learn what seeds do, and get people straight-away to the "best of".

The only part where I see this not working out so well is if and when terrain generation is changed in Java. The "seed picker" would totally break, and "replacement seeds" would have to be found, if finding them at all is even possible. For that reason, I don't really expect this to happen, but hey... cool if it did!
