Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Totems of Undying should give you levitation if you die in the void.

It's a bit infuriating having your totem lost when you're knocked into the void. I propose this solution where you're given levitation and float back up to the surface.

    Sorry but the Totem of Undying only saves you if you're at half a heart and the void kills you like crazy.

    Yeah it is a feature of totems that they don't save you from the void. I can appreciate if you get knocked in whilst trying to fight the ender dragon it can be annoying, but it's just a part of the game :(

    How much would the levitation last for?

     

    If it's not that much then your dying either way.
