Improved Diamond Graphic

I think that the Diamond (item) should actually resemble a diamond.

 

Primarily by 're-shaping' the diamond graphic to make the diamond appear as though it has the most famous/iconic diamond gemstone 'cut', the 'Round Brilliant' cut.

 

Here is an example of what it could look like (side-on view), that I quickly made in MS Paint.

 

The middle one has no real 'texturing', and I attempted to give the other one some texture (which I'm not very good at).

    block opacity

    emeralds should look like a see-through block, diamonds should look like a see-through block

    call it (polished diamond, emerald... maybe also having shine on gold and iron and end-portal-starfield on the red stone block to represent electric dust)

    I think the existence of the current diamond texture, in the game, makes it iconic.

    Just because something is "iconic" doesn't mean there's no room for improvement.
