Bluetooth Multiplayer

I would like to see Bluetooth LAN Multiplayer for mobile devices. We have already seen plenty of videos on glitches that allow this to work through tethering. It works really fast and is usually more responsive than regular WiFi multiplayer. (Here is one example!)

It would be useful so people could play on long road trips or in places without WiFi. Minecraft could be played anywhere with anyone. I understand that Bluetooth is a short-range mode of data transfer. (like 11 feet!) But some disclaimers about its limits could be useful. Or it could just be seen as a permanent experimental feature only for those who understand its limits.

    This would be amazing! My friend and I play Minecraft together a LOT and we have issues very frequently while trying to join each other’s worlds. We’re always on the same WiFi and have super basic skins to avoid any issues and we STILL have trouble. Bluetooth multiplayer would be SO handy, especially in the car

    This idea would be amazing if people didn’t have hotspot or have internet around them and they turn on their Bluetooth and play together like for trips and being on the bus.

     wish thinking of the same thing. It would have its downsides, such as people camping staying in their tents and never making outside contact because they can play Minecraft together, but overall, it's good. This should also be avaliable for the Nintendo Switch, and also Windows 10 Edition.

    In earlier versions of Minecraft PE this was possible, I could play both by Bluetooth and for Hotspot of the cell phone, I do not know why this was removed, but it would be good if you added it again.
