Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bamboo Paper

Bamboo in the latest snapshot isn't very useful other than fuel or making sticks. Since ancient civilizations used bamboo to make paper we should be able to too. Maybe instead of three pieces of bamboo gets three pieces of paper like sugar cane make it three pieces of bamboo gets one piece of paper. Thoughts?

    I really want this to get more attention. It's a fantastic idea that I thought about as well. It would make bamboo a decent midgame to late game sugarcane alternative. Bamboo actually grows fast enough I might suggest that maybe 9 bamboo = 1 paper, because once you start harvesting bamboo there is always more than enough to go around, plus I think it would help keep sugarcane from becoming too obsolete. Just my two cents.

    This is a great idea, I was going to submit one suggesting that Bamboo sticks should be able to craft into Paper, I currently have 2 chests full of bamboo sticks and enough scaffolding to build the Notre Dame twice, it needs to be more useful than that.
