please consider some fixes for scaffolding block

as it stands the scaffolding block has some very desirable features but some things are making it very unintuitive and quite frustrating to use. first off, you can not easily shift on them, you shift to the bottom of suspended scaffolding blocks which is very disorientating and makes placing things difficult. and it's quite a nuisance to try and shift on a tall tower of them. second of all, you can not place them on all kinds of blocks, i feel that you should be able to place them  on any block were they would then either fall down if it was on the side of a block above the ground, or if it is just on top of a slab or other non solid block preferably they would float there or if it must be that you can't have them sitting on anything (which does severely limit their usefulness - for example it is very difficult to use them near farmland as they can't be placed on them) they would break right after being placed. 

now for some wishfull thinking: my ideal structure block would be one were it can be placed on anything and is basically a normal block similar to something like dirt. except for one thing, were if it is next to another scaffolding block that has been broken it will also brake creating a cascaded of breakages allowing for rapid removal. understandably it is unlikely that they would be changed at this late stage but it would be appreciated if you consider the above points. thank you.
