In the bedrock edition, the player can store potions within a cauldron. Besides aesthetics and witch hut loot, this feature has no other use but doesn't have to be the case. What if when a potion filled cauldron is placed above a lit campfire, the entities in a 5 block radius experience the effect from the potion. The cauldron will empty after time.
Currently, the campfire is simply a lesser furnace. This adds greater functionality to cauldrons and campfire. Maybe the cauldron and campfire should have other relationships. For example, the player adds flowers and mushrooms to the water like they already add dyes. This is a better way of crafting suspicious stew
