Sword/close ranged weapon variation(s)

As 1.14 is adding a new ranged weapon I think the next or 1.14 should add a new close raged weapon like a sword that can have a right click ability. You could right click to lunge forward dealing more damage, you would not be able to have the item in your off hand work, and it would move you forward 3 blocks and up two instead of one, but there will be no sort of sweeping edge so the cool down will be for the lunge there for you can only attack one mob instead of multiple. The base damage (normal swing) of the sword would be less than it’s normal variation of every type of sword but you can do more damage with a lunge attack. Sense new blocks are being added why not introduce a smithing(or something like that) that can make these new swords and add different options like colored handles because they are made with sticks.
