Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Potion Of Magic Resistance

Witches already have potion resistance so why not make it a "real potion" the player can use? As the player can't protect himself/herself from potions with armor/enchantments. The player can protect himself/herself with milk but it isn't really effective. So I'm going to suggest a balanced potion of "magic resistance".

 

The potion of magic resistance will make the player slightly immune to potions depending on the tier. The potion of magic resistance has 4 tiers. Each tier reduces the effects of potions by 25%. It would be crafted as such in the brewing stand:

  Milk Bucket  
Awkward Potion Awkward Potion Awkward Potion

 

Now note that it would be relatively balanced as the milk bucket would still be the option if you want to clear all potion effects immediately. If you want a longer effect that doesn't get rid of all the potion effects then you can use the magic resistance potion. Also lastly even positive effects are reduced to make it balanced.

    I think it would be better if it was brewed using thick potion as this gives thick potion more of a use

    Maybe instead of a milk bucket we could use a "witch wart", a new item dropped when killing a witch. It would make sense to get that witch's same effects by taking something that comes from her

    This is an ok idea. I think this would be good, but using this should have a cost. I think that while this potion is in effect, it should very slowly drain your XP. If your XP reaches 0, you begin to lose health.

    Verdict: You have a vote, but this should come at a price, rather than being a relatively easy to brew item with no repercussions.
