A biome that is not snowy peaks or rocky cliffs, nor is it forests or woods. It is something in between, that Minecraft is lacking. If you climb a mountain, usually there are woods and forests, then when the treeline stops, the alpine tundra takes over. Then if you climb even higher, there's no more vegetation and you get to rocky peaks.
In the alpine tundra biome, there are no trees, but bushes and shrubs. The biome is constantly buffeted by winds and wrapped in clouds. There are little to no animals, and boulders are dumped sporadically throughout the landscape. Maybe there could be rare abandoned hut structures.
