    Yes, please! Or, at the very least, add a toggle that allows you to turn hunger on or off in peaceful mode.

    I was about to make a suggestion exactly like this. I think it would be much better to make peaceful a mode where hunger still matters, or at least have the option to make hunger matter, so that peaceful is still a survival mode without having to worry about combat if that's not how you play.

    I have always thought this and only just started looking into how to suggest changes, and im very happy to see that im, not the only one. I don't mind the mobs on the surface, but it can get overwhelming in cave systems. So if anything having a way to toggle on and off the mobs but with still having the hunger bar would be amazing. I have a feeling the new update will make it harder to light a cave completely, being that there will be larger cave systems. Although if the new light source blocks are used we'll in a national cave it might help elevate the problem.

    Every part of the game should have customized difficulty levels.

    Yesss! As a person with ptsd I find the monsters really triggering but I still love the challenge of having hunger. I really wish Mojang would look into doing this
