Withered Skeleton Horses

In my experience, I mainly see saddles and horse armor in the Nether and occasionally in dungeons. So I think it would make sense if Wither horses existed in the Nether. Withers could ride Withered Horses, but if you kill the Wither and keep the horse alive, you can tame it and bring it to the over world. The benefit of theses horses are that they have a higher stride length because of their longer legs, which allows them to jump further than normal horses and maybe faster (varies like normal horses).

    Or maybe these horses can be made as neutral mobs which will attack players if accompanied by wither skeletons. I got the idea of aggressive nature of these special horses from the flesh eating horses from ancient Greek myths about the Agean horses.

    *Appearance*
    These wither horses may look like normal skeleton horses but black in colour having a withering particle effect similar to sand particles...They may also have ghostly blue flaming eyes rather than empty eye sockets as in case of normal skeleton horses...

    Or maybe these horses may be pitch black in colour with lava like flames in place of their eyes n mane n tail hair... They may also be a tad bit bigger in size than all other horse types...

    Complete Fire resistance, would be a cool feature, making nether travel much easier

    What if you could swim in lava with them? You yourself would still need to drink a fire resistance potion of course.

    i like this idea maybe the wither skeleton horses give nearby mobs the wither debuff when they are trampled or come into contact.

    Wither skeleton horses are an awesome idea.  like the way to tame it is if you wore a wither skeleton head. and if they could run on lava that would be awesome. better yet with the nether updating coming up, netherite wither skeleton horse armor would be a great addition if this came into the game. I imagine just like the wither skeleton, the wither skeleton horse would be bigger and dark.  should be able to effect other entities with the wither effect, so as to not be optimal for being near peaceful mob farms, but beneficial in an attack.    I don't think they should be breadable, but healable yes.    a prize for killing a wither skeleton and getting their head, making it another reason to explore the nether and nether fortress.

    The Wither Skeleton Horses should spawn in the soul sand valley with a wither riders. This would give the player more reason to visit it. The wither skeleton horse should be immune to the effects of soul sand and have fire immunity so they can chase the players that are slowed down by walking on it.Maybe wither skeleton horses with wither riders could travel in packs hunting players down in the soul sand valley.

    Maybe four withered skeleton horsemen clad in full netherite armor spawns with the wither boss along with the normal wither skeletons

    Or even withered pegasuses (pegasii??) that could fly so that the wither boss would have the four horsemen as company up at the sky

    They can be fire resistant and gallop through the lava, but standing, they begin to sink.

    What if a few Piglins could spawn around them/ riding them, and these groups would spawn near you at random in the nether, like those small Pillager raiding parties that give you the bad omen effect. Killing the hostile Piglins without killing the horses will let you try to tame the leftover horses.

    Abilities of the Wither Skeleton Horse

     It has fire resistance, can run fast on top of soul sand and soul soil, has significantly more health compared to the regular skeleton horses, and maybe will have glowing blue eyes every time it sets foot on soul sand or soul soil (design inspired by SystemZee's video). Moreover, once tamed, it will attack any mob that either attacks or is attacked by the player, using some sort of charging move, causing some serious knock back and wither effect to the mob (note that it has a cooldown). It does this either while the player is off the horse or when the player is moving towards the target mob.

    Acquiring A Wither Skeleton Horse

    While exploring the Soul sand valley biome, a lone wither skeleton horse can be spotted, this is the wither skeleton horse trap (note that unlike the ones in the overworld, this one does not require any natural event to spawn, it is just a very rare spawn). Once the player gets near the horse, it will charge at the player till the player is hit, causing the player to be knocked back. This first charge will cause an explosion, in which its rider will spawn along with 2 normal skeleton horses with normal skeletons riding them. The rider of the wither skeleton horse will be a wither skeleton, holding a netherite sword. The wither skeleton horse will also charge at the player at this phase. To tame it, the player must defeat the riders.

    They'd probably work exactly like regular skeleton horses, but with maybe fire resistance.

    Wither skeleton horseman exist but they ride normal skeleton horses.

    It would make sense if the horses were withered!

    But stry horsemen would have to be strayed to.

    Also Wither Skeleton horses should be 3 blocks tall like camels but still behaving like a skeleton horses in liquids and they should be immune to fire lava and the withering effect.

    Maybe The Wither Skeleton horse, Wither skeleton jockey could spawn when the Wither boss is summoned in the soulsand valley!...?
    like how on bedrock edition the wither spawns a few regular weather skeletons just jockey.
