Black/Gray building blocks/walls/stairs

There is a lack of darker building materials in Minecraft(MC), this may be intentional but at least one or two sets would be a great benefit to all builders in MC.

Implementing a new dark stone (in a caves update *wink* *wink*) would be the best way in my opinion of adding a darker build set. Cobblestone is a very popular building block and another stone block would complement it very well. Currently we have dyed terracotta(T), concrete(C), coal and obsidian(O) but they cannot be crafted/cut into walls/slabs/stairs. Making T,C&O walls, etc. would be another great way of implementing darker blocks. 

If this or similar ideas go forward I think continued support of the old MC textures would be amazing and very helpful. I know many people who don't like the new textures, as for myself I don't hate the new textures but I love having the nostalgia of the old ones :)
