Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adding a way to change item name colours in survival

The game already has different coloured tags for different items, for example the blue names for diamond tools, which can be changed to whatever name you wish with an anvil. My suggestion is to add a way of colouring the item names within survival.

This could be implemented in different ways, I have 2 ideas myself: Crafting a name tag together with dye like with leather armour or adding a colour function to the anvil.

I admit this isn't a needed change however I think it has many benefits. There has been a lot of accessibility changes recently and I think people choosing there own colours for items without having to use command blocks would be helpful. This can benefit colourblind people as well as help for organisation in the hot-bar/inventory.

    I am more of a "get stacked" type of person, so I suggest you don't actually get those colors easily.

    I think using dye in an anvil would be a logical way to do this. It's not overpowered, it's just something that's cosmetic and gives no advantages other than allowing you to do something that was previously only possible with commands.
