if there was dungeons to access the end i think it will fill more rewarding because you have to go through this dungeon system, to reach the end game instead of finding the alter with the eye ready and hoping in beat the dragon bam you done but a dungeon system that the deeper you go the harder it gets but more rewarding it gets the dungeon could be randomly placed anywhere on the surface or in the water where you got to find the a or one of the dungeon doors or a building beat the first ground lvl of it and go deeper until you at lava and bedrock lvl to see the and alter and by then the player would have gotten rewarded from beating the dungeon with what ever items that can help later on in the game to get to the end and fighting the dragon or not just the ender dragon to beat the game but other dragons to beat it that you can summon like the end dragon could be the first get the end egg through it in lava in the nether then you have to fight the a new dragon in the nether and in the over world you place the egg then hit it to spawn a dragon that you have to fight or 2 more bosses to fight to beat the game like one in the nether which will be a moderate one and one in the over world that going to be essay and the end dragon could just be made a little harder to beat there could be and giant golem you have to fight or one of the variation of the monster you have to fight but it be like spider queen or grim reaper and in the nether the wither could just be that boss
