Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glass pane functionality

Allow glass panes to be places in multiple directions, similar to trapdoors. A player would be able to place a glass pane horizontally either at the top, middle or bottom of another block. This will allow players more adaptable resources when designing and building things. I can imagine players using to to create skylights while being more cost-effective, as well you could place the glass pane at the bottom and fill it with water, creating a view below a swimming pool.

    Yes! Sideway panes just like the new chains - placing regular panes in horizontal groups of 4+ converts them into horizontal panes and vice versa. That would be really cool.
