Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Mushrooms turn logs into dirt

Mushrooms decompose organic matter, so it should be able to convert logs into dirt while consuming the mushroom. The process should take a while but It would make dirt renewable and can help a lot if you are in a desert with only logs and saplings.

    Oooh, I like this. Nearly every other block or item in the game is renewable besides dirt, end stone, netherrack, quartz, and lava, as well as a few others. This would eliminate one of those. I do truly like this.

    Dirt is now renewable because of stone generators which moss can turn to more moss. The moss can later be turned into podzol, then dirt. I suggest it could turn into another type of dirt like podzol. It should also occur naturally with logs that spawn on their side.
