I definitely agree. It's honestly boring to play singleplayer in my opinion, so I have no desire to try out the betas without the option of a server. Mojang keeps talking about their desire to have unity between Bedrock and Java versions, yet they've totally failed on some of the easiest aspects. Especially if the server is anything like what I think it is (the server part taken straight out of the regular client), it's not like it's a difficult thing to do. Java lets people test out snapshots together, why can't Bedrock?...

Need this. My wife and I play on a server so either of us can hop on and leave whenever. I have been tinkering with Minecraft's files to find any way to build it myself from the beta game. I need this feature. I understand betas can be buggy, but if that's a risk I'm willing to take with my 20+ server backups, I should be allowed to

My wife and I have taken to running a 3rd computer to act as a server with a dummy character.  I'd much rather have a dedicated server to test all the new Beta features on.

I started a server for my family. Currently have about 5 or 6 people that play. I've made servers with Bukkit, Nukkit, PocketMine, pretty much any server that can be run without coding ( I consider myself tech saavy, but I know little to no coding, so my options are limited at times), and I've found the bedrock server alpha to be by far the better choice in terms of effectiveness. With that said, we have little to no options with the server application. I've found some things that can make it easier (Seriously, check out Minecraft Server Manager, it streamlines everything). But even then, little to no options, and ZERO ability to use betas. Even with the Server manager, it has game rules with experimental gamesplay set to false, but you cant change them to true. Honestly, i feel like if we were just given control of a few more things, it would open up our servers to be more manageable.
