Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lily pad / nenuphar + torch = lights on water

We can light on the ground with torchs. We can light under water with glowstone or redstone lamp. But we can't actually light ON water.

I think it could be great if we had a "lit lily pad" simply crafted with a torch on a lily pad. And with a shader adding some waves, it will be more and more beautiful to see this kind of light moving in a swamp, in a canal or on the sea.
