Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Birchbark Canoes

Isn't it annoying when you're boating up a river, and the river gets so thin your boat can't fit through?  To solve this problem, I suggest Birchbark Canoes are implemented into the game.  These canoes would be crafted from 6 birchbark and 1 wooden shovel.  Birchbark has a 1/15 chance of dropping whenever the player strips the bark off a birch tree.  The Birchbark Canoe would be 1.5 times faster than the current boats, and could accommodate up to 3 people.  This would be a very realistic feature since Native Americans did use birchbark canoes to travel.

    This would definitely help give birch biomes (my favourite) a unique feel and purpose!
    I think using logs might be better though, so we can keep it simple
