Shared local worlds in consoles to play split-screen
It would be great to have local shared worlds in Xbox one without the need to pay for live gold plus realms.
In families with kids it's commom for them to play on the same world for a time. Then create another world, and another, and another. So, paying for a realm is not that usefull, and the kids don't even benefit for the online playing if you don't want them to be online.
Currently we have the option to split screen any local game, but the drawback is that the player that has created the world has to be playing at that time. Having three kids it's very common to have them wanting to play in a world that belongs to a sibling that is not at home at the time.
So, you could implement some way to share worlds locally, without any subscription. I wouldn't pay a subscription for each kid, let alone for each world they want to create, but I would definitely pay for a Local xbox one server version where they could create several worlds, play no matter who created the world (basically access for all local users), and allow several worlds.
Security wouldn't be an issue ir the server is purely local. Who cares if they break their brothers houses... They are going to do it anyway when they have the chance :)
Thanks.
