Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Underground Crops

I've gotten this idea from Dwarf Fortress, and I thought it would be a nice addition to add in an underground plant that can be planted and farmed.

In DF, there's a plant known as a Plump Helmet, a farmable purple mushroom that can be found growing naturally underground. If Minecraft had a crop similar to that, it would provide more reason to explore underground.

For a crop like that, it would grow faster underground and slower above ground, encouraging subterranean farms.

    That is a great idea! Maybe you could have some crops based off real plants that grow underground!
