Signs + Book & Quill interface

Im not really sure how this works but I was just wondering if perhaps you could try to make the signs and "book and quills" only take up one screen. I think it was a great idea to add them, but it is very hard to use them (especially if you have a lot of thing to lable) and it isn't very fair to have everyone get in a safe place and and then stop their game just so you can type in some words. I don't even use the book and quill because it isn't practical since everyone has to stop their game (even though I think the book and quill was a good idea) please listen to my suggestion. And maybe you could include it in a big update.
