Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition

I think you shouldn't have to pay for Nintendo Switch Online if you linked your Microsoft account because only Nintendo makes you pay to play online multiplier.

    So does Xbox.  And PlayStation does too I believe. (Not 100% sure on PS part though)

    Actually, Nintendo has the part of online, they have to make it able so I disagree, they would decently not, the reason other games are, such as Fortnite (which is a bad game) is because for Nintendo they allow it for games that require to play online, but Minecraft you don't. This is not Minecraft's / Microsoft's fault.

    I get your point. Nintendo isn’t related to Xbox servers (which Minecraft uses). The way I see it is: if you don’t pay for the subscription, then your device is basically disconnected from ALL multiplayer internet activities. You can still update and install new games and apps, but it simply doesn’t allow games to go online. It is like this for all games. On the Xbox though, they recently removed the requirement to have Xbox Live to play online for games that are FREE.
