Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add More Trident Enchantments

Tridents. I am one of the many people who think a Trident is superior over the sword, but there are some problems with it.

For one, no Fire Aspect, Sharpness/Smite, Looting, or Knockback. Really? I feel like sharpening a Trident would make sense irl, but also Knockback would work good in conjunction with Loyalty, being able to hit mobs back and throw the Trident at them. Looting should also be used on Tridents so you can use them to also get more items.

I understand that it's new and that it will gain new enchants over time, but as we wait, heres some ideas for them

Guardian Aspect shoots a Guardian Laser instead of throwing the Trident. However, this means it will not work with Channeling, Riptide, or Loyalty. My next enchantment is called Penetration, which passes through multiple mobs like Piercing. Also does more Ranged Damage. This can work with Channeling, Guardian Aspect, and Loyalty. Next up we have Coral Corruption, an enchantment in which a Trident's Ranged and Melee attacks will give the victim an effect called "Coral Corruption", which is basically like Conduit Power when it damages Hostile Mobs. This does not work with Channeling or Impaling. This next idea is by u/That_Zeffia_guy  , and is called Shock-back (See what I did there?) This enchantment lets you create a shockwave that doesn't damage mobs, but knocks them back a lot, when you hit a block. With Channeling, it does 2 hearts of damage, but only in the rain.

Will this idea appeal to all players? Well, that depends. Are you Pro-Trident or Anti-Trident? If you're Pro or In between, I highly believe this will appeal. Why I believe this should be added is because in terms of Enchantments, the Diamond Sword stands superior, which makes sense, but should step down and give the new weapon a chance. Another reason why this should be added is because most of the Tridents Enchantments are circumstantial and usually require specific requirements, and I believe we should have more not-circumstantial enchantments. Downsides? Well, they're probably a bit too OP, which is where I need YOUR help! How can I improve this idea and make it better? Please comment down below!

    I love all the ideas here I really do. But I'm not sure if Mojang is going to add any more enchantments to the trident unfortunately. I don't remember which developer said it but I believe the it was just mainly a water based weapon but I am very pro-trident so I hope they add at least sharpness to it. Wonderful ideas again.

    Making Penetration works with Riptide. it will affect a charging impact damage. and it'll make a Riptide creates a Tornado.

    Riptide Tornado will Surround player. it was an visual effect,but if update releses now. it's not. Riptide Tornado will Pull mobs and players at in 1 block. and it deals a 6 Damage to mob and players over time.

    I suggest u put another new enchantment, Gathering which will work with loyalty, it basically sucks in XP and nearby loot and brings it back with the trident.

    I honestly love this idea... The trident is my favorite weapon in minecraft. I think if there could also be some enchant for when you use riptide so you don't take fall damage as much. I know that people can use feather falling on boots but I think that something like feather falling when you are using riptide would be nice.
