When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Different blocks on top of note block should apply audio filters

Leave stone or cobble to mute the block. The rest would apply effects.

  • Iron block - reverb.

  • Gold block - echo.

  • Carpet - low-pass filter

  • Packed Ice - high-pass filter

  • Snow layers - reduce volume 10% per layer

  • Glass - pitch 2 octaves up

  • Nether brick - pitch 2 octaves down

  • End stone - flange.

  • Sponge - wah-wah.

  • Nether Quartz - stretch/loop the sound last as long as redstone signal is supplied.

And whatever else would be doable.

    Slime blocks should add vibrato and snow layers should also have a muffle effect
