Allow datapacks to disable recipes by setting the type to 'minecraft:empty'

I'm currently working on a datapack that has some custom recipes, and the only way I can "disable" the builtin minecraft recipes is to set the input to the output. It would be really useful if I could actually disable these recipes so they don't show up in the crafting recipe book.

 

Adding either 'minecraft:empty' or 'minecraft:disabled' would make this really easy since datapacks can override default recipes already.

    I came here to post this very idea. The way I go about this right now is by replacing the recipe with a special crafting recipe (minecraft:crafting_special_armordye) instead, completely removes it from the recipe guide as well.
