I'm sure you've all seen the dungeon in Minecraft. No, not the stronghold. Those small square rooms with a single spawner and 1-2 chests? Yeah... what if there were LARGER dungeons?
Larger dungeons could be stumbled upon by exploring, just like ordinary dungeons. They would be about the length of abandoned mineshafts and would consist of a maze-like feeling as the player solves Redstone puzzles. Eventually, the player would find the spawner- which is what would be valued most- and would have a minimum of 3 loot chests that a normal dungeon would. The spawner would, of course, contain a normal mob spawner, but would have a chance to get rarer mob spawners, like cave spiders, creepers, husks, strays, or zombie villagers. This means that Large Dungeons would be sought after especially by endgame players.
For those who don't want to read much- dungeons with multiple rooms with a size limit like that of an abandoned mineshaft, they would have redstone puzzles- like those in jungle temples and would have rarer mob spawner variety (like husks, cave spiders, creepers, etc.).
Maybe it's a little far fetched, but a larger, more complex version of the dungeons would be a fresh, challenging, and new idea that could attract players and make the game feel more alive.
