Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Onions from Allium flowers

Allium flowers planted in a block of farm land could produce an onion.  Onions eaten raw would give 1 food point but would reduce villager reactions by one level.  An onion added to a cooked chicken and a bundle of wheat with a bowl would produce chicken noodle soup which would cure nausea and hunger effects.  Adding an onion to a beef steak, a carrot, and a potato with a bowl would produce beef stew for 5 or 6 food points.

    When eaten they may cause water droplets to fly out from the players head, making it seem like they are crying

    Reading the comment that says that it should be call a wild onion gave me an idea. What if there are two types of onion plants, the first one is a "Wild Onion" grown using alliums, and the other would be a "Tamed Onion" or just an "Onion" found/grown either by planting seed-like things you get from harvesting a Wild Onion, or possibly found in Villages. That would make it so that it would be harder to get Wild Onions because you have to plant alliums to get them, rather than the seed-like things you get from harvesting the onions. Making it so that Wild Onions would probably be slightly better than the "Tamed Onion."
