Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I like the idea of "moss", but I think it would be better if it was an overlay texture like vines, but it spread to any of the adjacent six directions and on any exposed block face.

Aesthetically you could see a couple of patches of the underlying block through it perhaps an edge, but the rest would be covered

Put an "age" limit on it like kelp has (so that it will eventually stop spreading)

Have it only spawn in specific biomes and variations for different biomes; forest would be normal, nether would be red, swamp would be a slime green, mushroom would be grey, oceans would be blue, caves would be phosphorescent yellow.

Maybe the swamp variant could grow on top of water sources too.

Have some blocks that moss wouldn't grow over. (non-solid blocks, ice, quartz?)

Have it reduce fall damage by 1/2 heart

Harvest only with sheers and use it to brew healing draughts.

It breaks with one hit or when it's grown over water and you walk over it (does not drop when it breaks)
