Building on top of the nether

Currently in Minecraft bedrock edition if you break through to the top of the nether you cannot build on top of the bedrock. You should be able to build on top of the nether.

    Just remembered you cannot move obsidian with pistons but you can move water logged blocks. 


    DONT READIs there a possibility to use pistons to still move obsidian to the top of the nether? Although to think about it you would need to remove the bedrock first and then use pistons. I will try to do it and I will give feedback but if it does work then I could see people doing that. The obsidian might move but I don’t think it will light. Only one way to find out.

    Now using powdered snow and cauldrons, it's really easy to get up to the nether roof in bedrock edition, but because you can't build, it's kinda pointless right now. I think that it would be cool to even just have an achievement for breaking bedrock or getting to the nether roof in survival, because it is something that you have to dedicate some time to and is pretty impressive to others when you're done.

    We need to make Minecraft versions closer to each other and we should build on nether roof because it's a massive downside for the bedrock edition. Many of the advanced java players build farms on the nether roof and building it under the nether roof is going to be extremely hard because players have to clear out a big area in the nether or find a huge lava lake so that no mob can spawn.

    note: many of people got stuck on the nether roof and didn't go back or cheated to get back (including me)

    Acho que seria bem melhor ter essa função iria ajudar muito, pois além minecraft bedrock ser difícil de construir, isso iria facilitar pra caramba.

    Por favor mojang eu quero fazer construcoes em cima da bedrock do nether e tambem quero a opcao de reparar o golem de ferro na versao bedrock e que ele poça rachar tambem como na versao java

    With the caves and cliffs part 2 update when the hight limit is increased please do the same with the nether so we can build there because I just got to the roof and I wanted to build an obsidian fortress there and then I saw that I cannot

    Besides you should just add it because we will never stop asking until it is a feature and people might actually stop playing and the popularity will go down and I’m sure u don’t want that do u Mojang NOW PLEASE MAKE THIS A FEATURE OR REMOVE IT FROM JAVA OR I MIGHT ACTUALLY QUIT MYSELF

    I don't understand why anyone even plays on Bedrock with so many parity issues.

    Having stumbled upon this though, I'm adding my bit of "discussion" in recommending people just play the real version, Java, and they won't have to worry about all these ridiculous, pointless changes in Bedrock, like not building on the roof, "simulation" distance that makes building farms way overcomplicated and, in many cases, pointless, as well as all the issues with gameplay smoothness.
    If you've played both, you know what I mean, if you haven't played both, try the version you haven't and see how different it feels just to run around and take off with they elytra.

    Add multithreading to Java and end this nonsense that you call Bedrock.

    All that being said, I did upvote this, in the interest of parity.

    I think you should be able to build and be able to access the bedrock layer especially using portals because it makes it a lot safer especially for people like me how like to play hardcore mode

    Why?, the roof of the nether is supposed to be there just to make players don’t cross over, and don’t make sense because you need to brake bedrock to pass or use a bug to cross trough blocks.

    We will build someday over bedrock guys just follow and vote and support this topic. All bedrock players will someday could play like the ones in java. We will have fun one day on top of the nether roof just like he we played on top of our second floor home. No ghast.
