Simple Scaffolding : Building with Sticks

Scaffolding brings new opportunities to the game as in construction in cities, building in high places, and even mining. But it is really a pain to find a jungle to get bamboo and build them. I was thinking that maybe you can make it out of sticks or maybe even create a new kind of stick that is possible to find in forests or plains. Unless you made finding bamboo and pandas a challenge then forget everything I just said.
