(Availability) (Bedrock) Porting to HTC Vive

Years ago Noch stated that he wanted minecraft to be ported to HTC Vive, but since then, nothing. I would strongly support getting vive support through windows 10 minecraft bedrock edition, as the current Java edition mods for vive leave a lot to be desired, and an official support would allow players to interact on servers in a unique way. While the Oculus is great, not everyone can buy, or wants to buy it. The Vive allows the room setup and makes the world come to life in a totally unique way. I also know that this is 100% possible as the occulus can be supported by windows 10 Edition. Thank you very much and please consider adding an official port for the HTC vive.

    If I recall correctly, Oculus signed a business deal with Microsoft for exclusivity.

    I'm not too inclined in legalities and I haven't heard about such deals. But would such a plan mean that vivecraft won't be possible?

    I really love this idea, to allow bedrock edition for the vive VR headsets. Especially since my friends are all bound to the Xbox.

    I feel that this would be a great addition. If it is on the Rift, it should be on the Vive too.

    I have the Gear VR Minecraft bedrock edition but friend have other devices and VR sets. Now with bedrock Ray Tracing for bedrock it would be fantastic! Also our server is bedrock

    The bedrock vr solution is exlusive to three vr platforms, none of which are OpenVR (and effectively every other headset). Hopefully the exclusivity deal is not forever!

    They should add the HCT vive. I really wanna be in the minecraft world.
