Kebabs would come in two forms: raw and cooked. The raw kebab recipe is 1 stick + any 3 of the following:
- raw beef, fish, chicken, mutton, pork, rabbit
- beetroot, carrot, melon slice, potato
- red or brown mushroom
- rotten flesh (adds Hunger)
- spider eye (adds Poison)
Cooked kebabs have Saturation and Hunger points equal to their best food item + a bit more (exact values tweaked for balance.) Kebabs can be cooked on campfires or in furnaces and smokers. Cooked kebabs found as loot have randomized saturation/hunger values, much like suspicious stew, although no potion effects are possible other than Hunger and/or Poison.
The main use for kebabs is to add a better than average food source and help manage inventory. Kebabs with the same values/effects stack, so for example a player with three kinds of raw meats could free up two inventory slots by crafting them all into kebabs.
