Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Connecting Barrels

So why not add that Barells kinda connect, like in some Modpacks. 

Not that they are connecting like chests but placing a 2*2 field for example of barells that they connect and you can take out every item out of all chests just by choosing 1 Barell. Then you could build enourmos warehouses just with barells, maybe add a scroll panel and you would have a kinda unlimited space storage.

 

Just an idea because in modpacks i always found it very cool and easy

    sounds a bit to OP though especially in the early game. maybe only make them stack able upwards and you get less of a problem. but still ... its going to be hard to fix.

    as one commenter already posted I also think it should be vertical only, this would also help with some farms where you cant really fit a double chest but need extra storage and I think it would be pretty cool to be able to stack it up by 4 or more blocks to finally fix the problem with storage a lot of people have. obviously you could just have more chests but its so annoying clicking and exiting 10 chests just looking for where your fishing rod is and this could be fixed by just having larger storage
