Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

Even in Java Edition they can't be retracted
    It's an intended feature

Indeed, it's impossible in Java Edition too. Can you edit the post Rafael6799?

That's really too bad because I wanted to build a piston door with the light gray glazed terracotta, this would have been really nice.

And that's not logic that pistons can't pull glazed terracotta but can pull glass, ice and its variations. At least it would be more intuitive if it couldn't pull ice because we know ice has a special property in Minecraft, we can notice that it's slippery. With terracotta I thought it was a bug...

If the developers really want to keep this special property, maybe they should add two varieties of piston : one based on honey that is regularly sticky and cannot pull some blocks, and the other that is "very sticky" and crafted with slime (which is rarer) and can pull more blocks, including glazed terracotta.
