Magma Serpent

I would love to see a giant fire snake like creature that lives in a sea of lava be in game. I could just see it now.

 

Magma Serpent

Health: ?

Defense: 0

Attack: ?

Hunting: The Magma Serpent will sometimes hunt Striders and even Piglins if they're close enough to the fiery sea. However, they will avoid Ghasts and Soul Sand Valleys. If the serpent encounters a Ghast, the two will fight. The Ghast will actually unleash its fireballs first when the serpent leaps out to try and grab it(midair attack).

Design: The creature would be a big serpent that has a bright orange molten glowing texture and has more than one color for variety. Its face would be similar to a dragons face as well and is 22 blocks long.

Spawn: Rare in the lava ocean

Abilities:

Fire Blast!: The serpent can fire a powerful blast of, well, fire at the opponent. This attack can reach out 7 blocks away from the creature itself.

Leap of Faith: The creature will leap out of the sea of lava and will try to bite the player and even try and drag them to the lava ocean. The Magma Serpent can leap at very far heights and lengths when going after the player.

Bite: The creature will try to bite the player either by fighting on land or leaping out of the sea of lava. Once bitten the player will receive damage along with fire damage as well.

 

Drops: Unknown(maybe special lava protection scales?)

    Post has been updated to match 1.16. I like to think that Striders are little mushrooms to the serpent and the piglins(maybe even hoglins), well, who doesn't like bacon(I dont honestly)? I think it would be really cool if there was a fight between mobs in the nether and not just the overworld(I dont really see wither skeletons and piglins ever fighting). Imagine what a snake vs ghost would look like compared to sheep vs wolf. But what are they fighting for? For territory or maybe they have some secret history a long time ago. The Minecraft lore is real! I just looked up if white mushrooms are the best kind and it turns out they are part of the top 10. Though, to be honest, even though the ghast looks like a white mushroom, I don't think the serpent should go for it. The eyes on that thing scares me 0-0.

    As long as it doesn't spawn too often I think this would work perfectly in the Nether. You have my vote.
