Minecraft should have mini updates every 2 weeks
Dear Minecraft,
Minecraft is a very old game, very old indeed. But the problem with the game is, even when it is 8 years old, doesn't feel fresh after a while. Minecraft makes around 2 updates every year. Those updates do bring a lot to the table, but I think they are not enough to keep players entertained.
After looking at Hytale, I have gotten afraid. Hytale at first glance seems to have a lot of content. Although the game is does contain some key game-making mistakes, like including an actual lore inside a sandbox game, I am sensing that many Minecrafters will be dragged into Hytale. It worries me because I love MInecraft, and I do not want it to die by Hytale. Which is why I suggest to add mini updates between the big update. That way, it would keep players in the game with those features.
Mini updates can be ranging from just major bug changes or performance upgrades, or adding entire new blocks and mobs. Adding blocks or mobs are not that difficult to make. Those mobs can let other mobs actually fit into the game. Like polar bears, they have been left in the dark just because it is useless, but if every single biome has a bear type, then the polar bear would not feel to be left out. Similarly, adding more bird types would make parrots fit into Minecraft. Big updates could be more focused on big changes like updating biomes or caves (MOJANG, 1.15 NEEDS TO BE THE CAVING UPDATE!).
I hope this feedback would be read by Mojang. Thanks so much for reading.
Yours sincerely,
