For a later stage adventure, the whole mansion does not relfect that in my opinion. The mansion is way to easy. Hence I propose a rehaul.
While the design of the mansion could recieve an update, it is not one of my biggest worries. But the changes I propose are:
* the evoker does not drop the totem of undying anymore
* in the top room, there is a treasure room with 2 evokers defending it (this is not necessarily where the totem of undying is located, but it forces the player to atleast explore up to the top)
* The totem of undying can be located within any room. An item frame that is hidden within a room with a totem of undying inside of it (to promote exploring)
* When the totem is picked from the item frame, the ”Illusioner” will spawn and you enter a boss fight. This would of course call for a stronger ”Illusioner” as the current one is fairly weak.
* When the Illusioner is alive the Mansion is cursed by the ”Illusion” effect which is given to players who enter
* the ”illusion effect” have different random effects: this includes, being randomly tpd in the building, randomly becoming nauseous, randomly becoming blind. Also, breaking any block from the mansion will result in the spawning of a Vex.
* Evokers can like vindicators exist anywhere in the building.
The totem of undying needs more uses:
* the item is feared by undead mobs (zombies, skeletons etc)
* can be used to craft an undying beacon which prevents the spawning of undying mobs around it when it is placed.
