[Bedrock] Toggle sneak key to Windows 10

Add a toggle sneak key to Windows 10. We don't have Better PvP like Java, and console, mobile, ect. have it. When I enter chat or main menu, I can't sneak.

    legit i actually died in the end falling into the void because i was so used to console sneaking but i lifted my pinky up for two seconds and i die because im so used to console edition sneak

    Yes this is desperately needed. I play with a controller plugged in just to press B and toggle sneak.

    Other keyboard binding issues that are desperately needed:

    1. Let us bind a different key for 'fly down' and 'sneak'.
    2. Better yet a different button for 'sneak-place'. There is no reason these functions have to all be the same key.
    3. Ability to see the key prompts like when using a controller (in bottom left of screen LT - Place, RT - Mine etc)

    I completely agree, especially for accessibility because holding down a button is hard why having it toggleable like auto jump would make it easier for everyone

    Had been available for a while as Alt + Shift then got taken away. This should be brought back.

    I'm getting tired of hold down my sneak button like in Skywars, build my house or even just trying to hide from someone please add this in Minecraft windows 10 edition.

    This is a feature on every platform except Windows 10 edition, the most expensive version. Why are we being treated like this? ._.

    Gosh yeah I'd really like this to be a feature. Holding crouch can be a strain on my hands, and as someone who has little stamina in my hands because of medical issues, it's frustrating. Not to mention the whole almost-falling-to-my-doom thing that other people have mentioned after they get so used to it on other versions lol. Please fix this.

    Not a dev of Minecraft but there is a way,

    switch the bind from shift to alt

    then tap the walk forwards once then let go of alt

    that should put you into a toggled sneak,

    sorry I got no idea for a toggle sprint for PVP though

    Cool, ill try that. But STILL, why cant they just put thr same thing of java to windows 10. Just add the button that Java has that lets you toggle sneak. Its so easy yo do :(

    Holding shift for an extended period of time is painful due to my arthritis.  Skulking through the sculk is excruciating.  Not to mention the fact that sneaking on scaffolding is impossible, so it's very difficult to safely place them horizontally.

    Also, when playing Minecraft Windows 10 edition with Mouse and Keyboard there is no option to change sneak to toggle instead of hold. While my friends on Xbox and Nintendo Switch have default toggle sneak making it much easier to play. I am used to Java so switching to Bedrock threw me for a loop, and I often forget I am unable to press sneak once and then move on. This is an issue most commonly come across while exploring The End. You virtually HAVE to bridge across gaps of 100+ blocks while holding sneak which often gives me finger cramps or ruins the gaming experience for me. Just today, while exploring with my friends and attempting to finish a bridge for one of them, my finger slipped off the sneak key for just a second and I went pummeling to my death, over 10 hours of work and grinding all gone, because I had to hold the same key down for over 2 minutes. Please add this to the game, players have been requesting this for months and I feel that adding a "toggle" or "hold" option for the sneak key-bind in Minecraft Windows 10 edition is the most logical next step.

    i'm narcoleptic and my muscles wear out really fast.  toggle sneak prevents soreness.  pls add.

    Yes, please update this Mojang/Microsoft. It is a major parity issue that the only version you can't toggle sneak on is bedrock on PC.

    How is this not actually a thing when you can do it on java and console? They seem so focused on nerfing the game in so many ways for parity yet something so basic like toggle crouch you cant do on pc bedrock

    Yes please add this feature. I come from Minecraft Bedrock for Android and it's easier to toggle sneak on mobile (helpful for traversing the void) but it's not available for Bedrock for PC. Please please please add this feature for Bedrock for PC.

    With the addition of the ancient cities and the stealth mechanic, it's required to sneak for extended periods of time. It's not so much a parity issue as it is an accessibility problem that sneak cannot be set to toggle on Windows 10 version. I'd love to see this implemented so I can traverse the end and ancient cities without fear that letting go of shift for half a second would be catastrophic.

    It makes this even MORE annoying cause it's paired with sneaking to use shields. SO whenever I'm in combat I either have to use shift and break my pinky or (I use middle mouse button to sneak) take either my middle finger off right click, or index finger off left click. And break whichever one I'm using.

    Mojang Please listen to the players to solve this problem of holding down the control and shift keys for long periods. Toggle on and off would be a great feature and allow accessibility to those who have dexterity issues which can lead to disability. I can't play like I used to, it hurts my hands too much but would love to be able to play again.

    With all the support on this site and around the web, I'm surprised this has never been done. It's available in Java, so I'm not sure what the advantage is not to do it in Bedrock, especially when you could toggle the option on and off. Please, Mojang, implement this in an upcoming version.

    PLEASE add this as a feature. So many Java Dad's like me want to play with their kids on bedrock but can't stand not being able to toggle crouch. It's the biggest annoyance ever.

    It's so ridiculous that something so simple and basic is not an option. I know Microsoft and Mojang are just a small indie company and so something this complex maybe beyond them, but I have faith they can figure it out.

    Please add this. I wanted to play on a realm with marketplace content with a friend, but they cannot play without a sneak/crouch toggle. We're forced to play java right now despite wanting to switch over to bedrock.
