Grindstones and field stripping tools.

While the grindstone gives some interesting benefits, such as regaining experience from removed enchantments, the implementation of this block has removed one of the most useful functions in the game; Field repair. Quite often during mining or Nether exploration, it's common enough to find yourself with several heavily damaged tools, and inventory space running low. Combining broken tools has always been a handy way of freeing up inventory space without having to throw way a tool or resource; Even combining two items with more that 50% of their damage value left is a better option than simply throwing away the tool.

Being able to field strip items for their combined damage value, without the bonus of the grindstone, is a valuable asset to players. Having this function return to the normal crafting grids would be a more than welcome revision.
