Drowned Lantern

After you get a trident, the drowned can be really annoying while you are building near the ocean. A lot of people want there to be some way to stop the drowned from spawning. I have the idea that will stop them from spawning. My idea is to have a block called the drowned lantern, which stops them from spawning in a certain area (I would say 20 - 30 blocks, but it's your choice). My idea for what it looks like is a grey lantern with blue light and a piece of leather over the top of it that looks similar to the drowned's clothing. The crafting recipe could be 2 prismarine shards, 1 leather, and a lantern.

    You can already use sea pickles to light the ocean floor so drowned don't spawn

    Hi abanmm4. In some ways, I do agree with you, but placing pickles can just be annoying after awhile.
