More Types of TNT/Dynamite Part 4: Potion TNT!

Important: There will be a list of all the explosives at the bottom of the post for you to check out!

 

I speak for everyone when there’s things that people really love about TNT and that’s explosions and absolute destruction! I agree with the people and because of that I say this: There needs to be more explosives! I came up with lots of different types of TNT along with some different types of throwable explosives also known as Dynamite that should be added in the game. Each type of explosive will be separated into their own articles so that you the people will tell me if certain types of explosives should be added in game or not. In this topic it will be about Potion TNT/Dyanmite:

Potion TNT? Yes, that’s right. Potions combined with TNT is now a thing.

Recipe: 1 TNT and 1 Lingering Potion

Info: When the Potion TNT explodes, the smoke will be the color of the potion that the player used in the recipe. When it explodes, any players/mobs that is hit within the blast radius will be effected with the potion effect that the player used for the TNT. There will be a smoke effect(that is colored from the potion that was used) coming from the ground from the explosion. If anything touches it, the player/mob will be given the potion effect for a short period of time. That could be used to make it a radiation like effect if using a Potion of Poison. Very nice.

 

Potion Dynamite

Recipe: 1 Potion TNT in a crafting slot and the player will get 16 Potion Dynamite.

Info: Same functions as Potion TNT except the blast radius is smaller. These can be thrown at far distances and the time limit for its explosion is shorten as well along with the potion effects.

Crossbow Compatibility: The player can hold the dynamite in their off hand and load it in the Crossbow on the main hand. This will allow the dynamite to launch even farther then using your bare hands. When released the dynamite will have a twirling animation.

  I would like to inform you of a way to make your tnt arrows.

   

  you place one command block that is impulse unconditional and needs redstone. enter this command:

  /give @a tipped_arrow{CustomPotionColor:16711680,display:{Name:'[{"text":"TNT Arrow","italic":false,"color":"red","bold":true}]',Lore:['[{"text":"Boom."}]']}} 64

  then place a button on that command block. It will give you your special arrows.

  to make the arrows work place two repeating unconditional and always active command blocks.

  in one of them enter:

  /execute at @e[type=arrow,nbt={Color:16711680,inGround:1b}] run summon creeper ~ ~ ~ {Fuse:0,ingnite:1b}

  and in the other one enter this

  /execute at @e[type=arrow,nbt={Color:16711680,inGround:1b}] run summon creeper ~ ~ ~ {Fuse:0,ingnite:1b}

  also if you don't know how to get command blocks

  press"t" and then enter

  /give @p command_block

  place it and right click while in creative with cheats on to open it. adjust the settings and copy and paste the commands. :)
