Open Source the Scripting Engine

It would be fantastic if members of the MC community could help improve the scripting engine. It would also allow newer programmers to begin to understand higher concepts in programming and trace how their mods run through the actual runtime.

    I heavily agree. The main advantage of Minecraft Forge on Java is that it is open source, anyone can get the source code and modify it as they want, and submit changes. If the Bedrock official Modding API was open-sourced, it would allow for people to make changes to base mod API directly, rather than telling the developers what it is they want, and having them guess as to how to implement it. 

    I have noticed this form is definately not for submitting polished ideas, which seems reductive. It would seem to me that if a feature already has a well defined proposals, or even code that implements the proposal written, tested, and proven, it would be better received.
