Electric Eel

I come here again to give an idea, which in my point of view is cool. That would be the addition of electric eels. It could be an aquatic enemy, since there are not so many mobs that live in the water and are hostile (if I am not mistaken, there are only 3, the drowned, the guardian and the elder guardian), and also would be one of the few mobs that are related The electricity (Being the only one, the Charged Creeper). Other thing is that the eels in the movies, cartoons and etc, are usually characterized as secondary villains, and would be the same with the minecraft eels, since they would not be
enemies so grandiose, and would be there just to let their navigation in the waters more challenging.

    I had a very similar idea. I like it. The page took my idea doesn't beacuse you beat me to it. Only thing I added was that the electric eel also emitted a redstone signal. Thoughts ?

    sad thing is Minecraft wants to add zero real hostile mobs so they only want fantasy hostile mobs like zombies and they don't want to add stuff like sharks or snakes. They said they will never add a hostile mob that exists in the real world

    Fact: Electric eels are NOT eels but knife fish instead.

    Eels could be a neutral mob that spawns in coral reefs, simply hunting tropical fish there. If provoked/hit, it would attack the player.
